The Blizzard Sheeva 9 Skis are Blizzard s slightly more playful alternative to their blockbuster Black Pearl series, with added tip and tail rocker and a more relaxed character. To be sure, these are still Blizzard s so the Sheeva 9 is perfectly capable of ripping a clean turn at speed, but the more relaxed profile makes it more fun in bumps and trees. If you're looking for a single ski to handle it all with power and style, the Sheeva 9 is a sure winner.

Full on powder days in the trees? Sure. Icy bumps when it hasn't snowed in weeks? No problem. Everything in between? Of course. Let the mountain do its thing, you can be sure the Blizzard Sheeva 10 Skis will handle it with confidence. The Sheeva 10 is exceptionally versatile, with a 102 mm waist and rockered all-mountain profile. This ski combines the best of stability and light weight with Blizzard s D.R.T Titanal construction, a tapered metal laminate that dampens the ride without adding excess weight. One of the best quiver-of-one choices out there for the advanced freerider.

The Blizzard Bonafide Skis have been one of, if not the, top expert pick for an all-mountain ripper since their introduction, and there's no reason to change that. If you love making quality turns and appreciate the stability a well designed ski with metal laminates offers at speed, the Bonafide is as good as they come. Perfect for technically sound skiers who love that "race ski" feel but want something a bit more versatile for varied snow conditions.

The Blizzard Rustler 10 Skis get some minor tweaks this season, primarily aimed at making the ski more stable at speed and a bit less "reactive" to turn input. We've tested the new version and can confirm it still rips and feels a bit less twitchy at speed. The 102 mm width and versatile handling that have made it a favorite in the "Quiver of One" sweepstakes haven't changed, but the overall impression leans a bit more toward the performance profile of the Bonafide (that is to say, stronger at speed and in large radius turns) than before.

Ask around in our ski department, and you'll find an interesting phenomenon - almost everyone has a pair of Blizzard Rustler 11's in their quiver. Why? There simply isn't another big mountain charger that does everything you ask of it - from snapping off precise turns on the super steep to railing quality turns at speed to straight lining the outrun at mach speed - as well. No changes in the ski this year except for the cheerful burnt orange topsheet, but none are needed. Get this ski and rip.

When you're on your game and looking to ski terrain as fast as it can be done, look to the Blizzard Cochise Skis to get you through in one piece (just ask Marcus Caston). Burly, confident, and ready for a set of strong legs to guide them, the Cochise holds tenaciously in high speed turns and excels at blowing through variable conditions that would humiliate other "freeride" skis. This ski demands a lot, but if you consistently push the limits of what can be done the Cochise is a tool you should seriously consider owning.
