Built for fast and light touring, Backland 78 UL is an ultralight weight touring ski for ski mountaineering missions. Constructed with ultralight Carbon Fiberglass and Atomic's Ultra Light Woodcore for extremely lightweight skiing performance, this ski delivers exceptionally efficient and fast climbing. The All Mountain Rocker allows for smooth and stable performance on the descent while the HRZN Tech in the tip floats in fresh snow and charges through chop and crud. A cut-out notch in the tips makes transitioning the pre-fit skins quick and easy. With a narrower profile than the Backland 85 UL, this ski craves to climb. The UL range offers the lightest skis Atomic makes.
