The Tecnica Zero G Tour Scout Alpine Touring Ski Boots take the place of last season's Zero G Guide in the lineup, and aim for better pure touring performance (as opposed to "crossover" performance). Lighter, arguably stiffer, and with a redesigned walk mode and non-replaceable ISO 9523 sole, the Tour Scout looks to be a "best buy" in the sub-1500 gram touring boot segment, and seems assured of a "best skiing touring boot" award as the season progresses.
